Hi Boss,
Big complaint about the lights they installed a few years ago. I can't believe after all the money and work that went into replacing the old lamps that they are falling apart the way they are. Absolutely outrageous!!
Boss,
Loitering is a big problem over in my area. Kids are disrespectful and obnoxious. Chester Police don't do anything, just drive by them. They should fence around those green electrical boxes in order to keep kids from congregating in those areas.
Hello,
Just wanted to bring up dog curbing. Still a problem in Whispering Hills.
Dog Owners need to clean up after their dogs!!!
Glad to see your posts,
I will forward these issues over to the Whispering Hills HOA.
Keep Posting, we can all make a difference.
Thank You,
The Boss
Sore topic in my house, snow removal this winter.
It was horrible!
The sidewalks didn't get done until the storms were over. This presents a situation for the elderly. If there is an emergency and I need to get out of my front door during a storm, I couldn't.
Dirt Bikes Plague WH.,
Whats up with the dirt bikes tearing up the lawn back in the 4000's. Not good!!
All above ground utilities should be buried underground. They look like garbage above ground. Or they should plant bushes around them to conceal them. They need to spruce up the grounds a bit. Alos, all the old rock walls should be replaced with the new walls they have put up in some parts of Condo 1. Thsi will help the snake problems oe of us have every year. The pool area near Condo 1 looks nice now.
If Whispering Hills has a policy against the use of ATV's on the property, then they need to put a stop to it. If they are outsiders, they are trespassing. If they are on the streets, then they are riding them illgally on the streets, in most cases. As far as loitering, it is not that easy to just tell them to leave, especially if they live in the complex.
Hi Whispering Hills,
I am very pleased to see all the posts over the past few days.
We are taking another step forward!!
I am currently working on a strategy to incorporate Whispering Hills HOA into our blog.
This will give management an "equal" opportunity to respond to questions and comments as they come in. My ideas will be presented to the HOA early next week, and as always, I will keep you all abreast of the status of the situation.
In the meantime keep posting.
Thank You for Your Support,
The Boss
Car Stereos, noise pollution!!!!
That’s one of the biggest problems. How about incorporating a noise policy?? People need to realize that there is more than 1 family living in this place. Am I the only one that has an issue with this?
2 more complaints....The Chester PD needs to crack down on these kids who fly throught this complex, especially at night and between the stop sign and entrance. I see it on a continual basis.
Second, Whispering Huils parking regulations for street parking are not in alignment with village policy and law. If you read the signs entering the village on parking in the winter, street parking is only banned during inclement weather. We are banned no matter what the weather is between November 1(?) and April 1(?) overnight. There is no reason and makes no sense why you can't park on the street overnight when there is no bad weather occuring or forecast for that night.
I know Congers In Rockland County has a law like this. If it is going to snow, they can't park on the road. If they expect snow they have to park in a driveway.
That us the way it should be, just as the signs entering the village say, it should not be No parking at all overnight from November to April, even when there is no bad weather forecast. If you look back at history, it is only about 20 days a year that snow and bad weather would prevent on street parking if our parking rules we the same as the rest of the village, not the 120 or so days we can not park overnight now. For some reason, our rule is different than the rest of the villages and our primary road is a village road. Somebody told me that tis rule was made when we owned the road and was never changed. The Vilage needs to chane it to conform to the rest fo the village.
The HOA needs to fix the siding at the apex on the side of one of the units of I believe condo IV. I live in the 3000's and can see a large piece of siding that is half torn down that is defiantly an eyesore.
It’s been like this for the last month. I’m very surprised the owners over in that section didn’t call the problem in to get fixed.
The lights do look terrible. They look unfinished and worn.
I too agree that the sign at the entrance to our community needs some attention. The bushes should be trimmed to show the full name of the development and the bulletin board must refelct current information. It's still showing information from February!
I don't think the garbage rules are clear. There is garbage sitting on the side of our garbage hut all the time. It is disgusting!!!!!! If they did keep the dump open even late 1 day a week, I don't think this would be happening.
I agree about the garbage around the hut and the recycling area. Another solution besides having the dump open late one night or on a weekend day, how about once a week a truck coming around and picking things up?
The signs need to be straightened out. The plows destroy them.
I am curious what we can do about the cat problem at the top of peach street cul-de-sac. a few cats have turned into like 50 cats. Is there a way we can get the local animal control to get the cats and give them good homes instead of the dumpsters and the cold outside. This has become a major problem that we need to control before we are out numbered
Just call Animal Control.
I took a walk around the path, I have to tell you that the basketball and tennis courts are in need of some significant work.
I don't have a complaint, I have an issue. Bee's in the eves of the front of my building. It seems like the whole row has the same thing going on. Today they started appearing again, I know it will be another summer with the fly swatter killing these things. Who do I speak to in order to take care of this, or do I have to call someone privately to come in and take care of it?
Loitering, It's starting already.
Did you speak to Chester Police yet Matt?
They just sent around a letter addressing the garbage issue. I still see tv's and stuff next to the outside of the dumpster. Have some consideration! I clean and maintain my own yard for people like this to make the area look like trash.
