A few Tips to Increase Traffic
Just because we have an exclusive blog doesn’t mean everyone knows about it or reads it. Like any other website, we still need do some promotion to drive traffic; otherwise we’re just a needle in the haystack. Here’s a few things we can do start bringing additional residents opinion to the blog.
What is WHB doing?
1. Placing flyers in strategic locations around the area, including Whispering Hills Clubhouse I.
2. Creating a monthly newsletter which will be sent to residents via email.
3. Making the site more user-friendly & adding additional features.
What Fellow Residents Can Do?
1) Most importantly, talk to your neighbor & educate them on the existence of Whispering Hills Blog.
2) Discuss topic being generated here and make them available off the blog for debate.
3) Weather it is fence projects, plowing or landscaping, always make others aware of the root of the discussion.
4) Write high-quality posts. They don’t have to be long but they need to be good. Give a unique view of your opinions.
5) Make sure you & your neighbor have subscribe to our RSS feed. This will help you keep track of the Blog. This is very important for repeat visitors.
6) Post often & don’t give up. It’s hard to build an audience for any given topic; it takes a lot of time and effort. Give every discussion time to develop.
*Remember… Whispering Hills Blog is non-profit; we are committing private time & funding to the “WHB Project”. It took a massive effort on the part of our affiliates & our team.
